I moved up to expert in BMX and I did my first expert race on Sunday and got a second place and a fourth in the open. I won last weekend on the triple point weekend and thats when I moved up to Expert. I've been working on my gates at BMX and now am much faster out of the gate. My gates have helped me on the rest of the track as I'm not stuck behind the slower kids. This Thursday my dad is going to take off of work early and get out to BMX sooner to get more practice. Hope to see the usual suspects at BMX.

New Bike New Year

Well now its been about one month since my last post and I have alot to write about but I'll try to sum it up in a something short. Got my two new Kuwahara's for Christmas. I got a Wii and a Boomchair (a video game chair) for Christmas too. We've been doing BMX and some easy training. I bought Guitar Hero 3 for the Wii but I still need to get the extra controller for it. On Thursday hope to

It's been a really long time since my last update. But I've won all the Cross races and done fairly well at The Barn. Well Yesterday we got back from the Grand Nationals in Oklahoma. It was alot of fun and I did really well. On Thursday there was gate practice and I got the chance to get a feel for the track. On Friday it was the Race of Champions and I made it to the main and got a 6th because a kid crashed onto my back wheel. On Saturday it was qualifying for the Grands. I made it in my first moto so we didn't have to stay all day and that was nice. On Sunday it was the big one. Made it through semis and into the main. At the start I got boxed out and by the end moved up to 4th place by the finish. Thanks for every ones support.

At Lapham Peak I got 1st in both the time trials and the cross race. Fun course except for the hill climb where you had to get off and go over the barriers at the top of the hill. That hurt a lot. At Sheboygan I got a 3rd due to some crashes caused by this kid in front of me who stopped right in the middle of every hill. One of them I hit my ribs pretty hard and hurt those. Last weekend I got two 1st places and this weekend we're going up to the WORS banquet and are doing two cross races.

It's been awhile but up at the Cheq. short and fat I got a 2nd in age and a 49th overall so I did pretty good. My dad pulled me the whole race and that helped a lot. Yesterday we had a football game and we lost after having it tied until the 4th quarter and our QB threw an interception which the other team ran in for a TD with a min. 10 to go. Today went to Iola and got 3rd in age and beat Caleb for the 2nd overall for the year. I also got a 2nd in the marathon series. Looking forward to the Cross Season which starts next week. :)

It's been awhile but it's on because we were up at our cabin all last week and school started this week. At Mount Morris I got another 1st and my dad got a 2nd. At the cabin cut down some trees and went fishing. At Spokin' Spoke I didn't go out as hard so I was able to keep it at a nice pace and ride with Bubba for a lap and a half. After the race I went swimming in the lake and that was nice and refreshing. the last 2 days have been football football football and today will be another day of it. Over the weekend I'm hoping to get some riding in. See ya later...

Today was the 2nd muddy race of the WORS season. Crystal Ridge sure does get muddy when it rains on the course. Well today Mitch and I got 1st, my mom got 2nd, and my dad got 3rd. Here is a pic. of me after the 1st lap.

This weekend I went to 24/9 Nationals in Wausua and it was as long and as hard as it looked. But all in all it was really really fun. Props to everyone who did it. Here's some pictures from the weekend.

At the Chippewa Valley Firecraker it was very dusty and hot. T he course was very fun. We stayed at my uncles house so his neighbors came with us. At the finish I came in in 2nd place and was only about 1min. behind the winner. So when we went back to my uncles house we swam and relaxed. That week we built a poolside bar and I went for a couple of rides. On Wednesday we went to the snowmobile skips and finished the bar. Last Saturday we went over to the State Criterium and did that. Mitch got win I got 2nd, and Gage got 3rd. Today I'm going down to the track instead of BMX so see ya later.

Well its been awhile and there is a lot to write about. At BMX Nationals down in Rockford we camped which was a lot of fun. But, on Thursday I got a 1st, Friday I got a first, Saturday I got a 5th because I had to unclip because two kids crashed behind me and hit my back wheel. And on Sunday I got a 1st and came home with a big trophy. On all the other days at night we had a campfire and did other stuff to that sort. Last weekend My mom and I drove to Whitewater for a time trial that was like 12.5 miles long and very windy. The next day drove back out to Whitewater and did a crit. that was a little loop around the park. In that Gage and Mitch were there to help me get a 1st so I could have a better chance at winning the omnium. Sunday drove back out to Whitewater AGAIN for a road race. The lap was a lot of fun and would have been more fun if we wouldn't have caught the 15-18 year olds on our first lap around the third turn. We rode past them and the official following us started to yell at us. Then the 15-18 year olds passed us and slowed back down again. So we passed them again and the official yelled at us again. And right before the last hill on our second lap the official said that we were going to let the 15-18 year olds past and we picked up the pace and we finished before they passed us. Mitch ended up getting 1st, a kid from Michigan got 2nd, and I got 3rd which was enough to get me the omnium. I got a Bontrager pump. Tomorrow I'm going to do a road race and head up the Eue Claire and have a happy 4th of July!

Yesterday went to States for road and we had knew what the course was because we had ridden it before. At the start we had to go up the hill and at the top we had to wait for some of the other riders so we got a little break there. After the start we kept it pretty steady except for when another kid from on another team came up and took a pull it went down to about 10mph. On the last hill Mitch attacked from the bottom and no one else went so Mitch got an easy win. Then Gage, Evan, and I went but on the last 50 yards I died and Gage and Evan got me at the line. So Gage got 2nd overall and 2nd in age, Evan got first in 10-12 and 3rd overall, and I got 3rd in age and 4th overall. Today went to the time trial and did that but we didn't stay long enough to see how I did.

Saturday headed up to to 9 mile for the Wors race. When we got to the hotel my dad won a raffle to get a free upgrade to a suite with a Whirlpool bathtub. When we got back from swimming in the pool I got in the bathtub and sat in there for awhile and watched T.V. On Sunday went over to the race and got started. My grandparents drove up to the race and watched us race. At the start I got up in the second row. When the race started I got on a wheel and sat for about half the road but the pace was too high so I fell off and got on a slower wheel. At the start of the 2nd lap it started to rain really hard. Then Danny came past on the road so I got on his wheel and stayed with him for a while. When I finished I was cold and muddy. So I went to the car while my dad washed off my bike. After we got the awards for Maddie who got 2nd, my Mom who got 3rd, myself, I got 2nd, and my Dad who got 3rd we went to the Favoli's in town. We had unlimited bread sticks and some good food. Overall we all had a REALLY good weekend.

On Tuesday we went down to the track and I got $4 and I did the constalation race and finished only one lap behind. Not bad for my first time on a track bike since last summer! Yesterday I went to the time trial at Crystal Ridge. Travis beat me by only 6sec. so it's not that bad. Today we won't go on the beatdown because we don't want to get caught in the rain again and my grandparents are in town.

Today we went over to Crystal Ridge for some riding. Just a little wet down at the bottom of Craters but otherwise it was a nice ride with no hammering just a nice easy ride.

On, Sunday Mitch got a 3rd and Maddie got a second. In the Sport race I got 2nd and my dad also got a 2nd. Yesterday we went to the Beatdown and BOY, was it windy. I started to die so we took a short cut. The last mile and a half it rained on us.

Well, today Team MARS got their first 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. I got 1st, Mitch got 2nd, and Gage got 3rd. The course was pretty hilly as we had to climb nearly 2,000ft! The lap was about 11.5 miles long and had some wicked fast downhills. On one of the downhills Jeff and The Goat said we got up to 45mph on one of the downhills as they were following us in the box. After the race we drove over to the WORS race in Lake Geneva. The course is pretty technical and hilly. but other than that I think I should do pretty good.

Well been a while but I should probably update. Last weekend we drove out to the WCA road race on Saturday and later we went to do some trail work. To stat of the morning we had to get to the road race by 7:30a.m. and get ready to race. When the race started Team Mars got on every ones wheel and just sat. On the last hill I told Mitch and Gage to go. When they went I blocked and didn't let anyone past for about 50ft. Mitch pulled Gage up the last strech and Gage came past to get the win. Then later at trail work we found some pretty cool stuff. Then after the trail work we went for a nice mountain bike ride with Bubba on his trails. Well this is the last time you'll be seeing a picture of me at BMX now that the season is over . Well you might have been wondering what I have been doing the last couple of weeks. I've been going to BMX and Parkside. The big weekend at BMX was a good weekend as I came home with the #1 the two last days of it. Then at Parkside I got a 5th, 8th, and 2nd. At BMX I got a third because I had to race the thirteen year olds. Then after the races I went to the Alpha Wings BMX pizza party. While we were at the pizza party me and Mike Murphy got out alot of toys out of the crane games for the little kids which they all liked. Then when we got home my dad, mom, and myself had to go get the rest of our furniture from the sale.

Yesterday I went to Parkside and BMX at parkside Maddie and I got our race cloths and I got some of some of the parts for my mountain bike

Last week Tuesday I got my stiches taken out by my mom.Yesterday at BMX I got a first in age, a second in cruiser, and my dad got a fith in his race. My age was pretty easy as I made it in the first round. But my cruiser was pretty hard but I still made it to the main. The races were alot of fun as always. The last gate practice is this Thursdayand I hope to see you there. The triple point weekend is this week. And on Sunday morning there are Parkside races.

On Thursday we went out to practice and before the first gate drop I went down going through the rhythm section. I clipped the petal on the first one and flipped over the bars . I was trying to get in an extra petal stroke or two before the rythyms. But I still finished the practice and was really affected by the crash. Today I felt way better and got a first in age and didn't make it to the cruiser main. In crusier I was in 21-25 and about to make it in but then the guy in front of me stopped pedalingand then Joey got next to me and beat me to the line. My dad got a fourth, Sam got a first, Skyler got a third in open and firstinage, Mitch got a third today in age.

Sunday went to Bmx with my dad. Due to the weather, The Super Bowl, and Nationals in Oklahoma there was barely any body there. I got two firsts, my dad got a third, Sam got a first, Russ got a fourth, Ron got a third, and Skyler got a first in age. We were glad to see all of our freinds at the track and at the cross banquet. The banquet was fun and the awards were cool as they usually are. Today my sister Jessica was felling sick and had to come home from school. She is still laying around and feeling a little bit better. Hope to see you all at BMX.

BMX

Today my dad and I went out to BMX in Walworth. It was a small turnout due to the snow and the Nationals in Tennessee. Today Kenny, My dad, and I all got on to Alpha Wings. Ron helped us get on. Thanks Ron. Well, anyways I got two seconds and my dad got a third. There is one kid in my age group who is supposed to be an expert but stays in intermediate. That's OK because we are trying to keep my wins down for nationals this summer and he won't get any points or team points they will even take away all of his points. Thanks Again Ron.

New Season, New Team
Maddie and I were offered a position on the SRAM team with Goat and Rachel. We accepted the offer and are on the team. We went over because the Hayes team doesn't have a junior team anymore and the SRAM team is focusing mainly on juniors.

The past couple of weeks we have been going to BMX on Thursday and on the weekend. I have been geting mostly seconds and thirds in the races on the weekend. In my age I have been fighting for first and have been going down. Last weekend we went to the Swap meet in Madison and I got some shoes. Ray got all the stuff he needed for his BMX bike he built up. We also finished the Felt cruiser that we needed a fork for. We found a fork at the BMX races the next day. The fork is a nice carbon Bombshell. This week we had a short week at school and didn't have school on Thursday or Friday. Since we didn't have school my dad took off and we went sledding at the park. After that we went to the BMX practice and got some pointers from Ron. Thanks Ron for the help.

On Thursday my dad and I went to the night ride. It all was going good until my derailleur got ripped off by some stick that reached out and pulled it off. Then I had to finish the ride on a single speed. When I was riding the chain kept titting up and making it harder to ride. The ride was alot of fun. On Saturday we went out to Pets and rode the trails there. In about the first mile Chris went down hard and might have broken some ribs. Then a couple miles later my dad got a flat after a creek crossing and had to go back to the car. While he was changing the flat we did some fun trails by the creek. The ride was long and I think that tody it hurt me a little bit while at BMX. Today at BMX I had a hard cruiser because I had to race 13 cruiser and not 12. Even though I had a hard cruiser I made it in and took a fourth in the main. On my 20 I made it to the main and got a third.

Today my dad and I went to the Saturday ride out of Wheel and Sprocket. The ride had a steady pace but when I tried to make a move Bubba's fat ass was in my way every time. The ride was hard because the wind would just push me around. There were two flats and DIHAF had one of them. There was one crash and no one was hurt but John Buran broke his water bottle cage. They fell on some mud under a bridge. After the ride we went to Big Apple Bagels and had lunch. The ride was fun and hope to see you at the ride tomorrow out of Russell's.

Saturday Ride

At the ride there was a large group for one of the rides on the weekend. The ride was a hard one for me because the wind would just blow me around. The ride was still alot of fun and we had an average of about 17. While riding we saw a racoon and there were two flats which sucked becuase it made everyone even colder than they already were. When the ride was over COOOOOOOP didn't care what everyone saw and showed off his undies. After everyone changed they went to Big Apple Bagels and we went home because we had to go do some stuff before the party we had on Sunday.

BMX

On Saturday I went to BMX whith my sisters and my Grandparents. My grandparents took me because my dad had to go Christmas shoping with my mom. Well in crusier I got a first and in age I got a second because Obergon tried to put me into the wall and I was forced to slow down.

Today at BMX I got two thirds and my dad got a third also. In age I got a third because Obergon tried to take me down in every moto and he did in the final. In crusier I got a third because I had to race Bodie and Dallas who are both highly ranked in the nation. My dad got a third with pure skill and speed. See Ya Later. . .

BMX

On Saturday I went to the barn for some BMX racing with my dad. When we got there we knew that there was going to be very few people because of Grands. As we figured there was few people there and only 30 motos. We saw Kenny and Josh there and they both raced. Josh missed both his mains and Kenny got a bad start in the main. My dad got a second and I got a 1st in cruiser and 2nd in age.

Yesterday I went to Russells house for the Packers game to watch them screw up. The Packers were doing good until the 3rd quarter. As many of you know they lost and oh I almost forgot they SUCK! See Ya Later. . .

STATE CROSS RACE

On Saturday I went over to Pat's house with my sister Maddie. We went over so I could stay over night and Maddie decided to stay over also. While we were at Pat's we wacthed a movie and Pat made a really good prerace dinner. When I woke up all the other kids were already up and running around. Then we had breakfast and we were out of the door to go and pick up The Tool. On the way I was feeling pretty good and I was just a little nervous. When we got there I registered, changed and waited. The Tool and Pat raced 4s and I had to do hand offs to Russ. They both did well. Then it was my turn to race, I looked at who I was going to be racing and I figured it was going to be an easy race. As the race started I was off the front with Marcie
(as usual) and the other kids were gone. As the race continued I felt better and better and I was a lot smother than I was at the start. When the race was over it felt good to know that I won and that I had won the overall for the series. Thanks to Pat for letting Maddie and I stay overnight and getting me to the race. Yesterday I went to the cross race in Janesville and raced in the mud and snow real cross style. During the race I had good tires and I was able to come home with a 1st place. Myles was able to hang on for the 2nd place win and he has a shot at taking 2nd overall at the end of the year. After racing the cross race I went to the bmx track and raced age and cruiser. I was able to place 2nd in each of those races. I had a chance to win the age but bobbled and that opened the door for Ryley to get under me and he pinched me in turn 3 and I hit the brakes and he got by and I had to settle for 2nd. Lesson learned. My Dad took 2nd in his cruiser class. While at the bmx races Russell and Ron stopped by for some gates and racing.

Today we went back to the bmx track for a double points race. I took 2nd in cruiser again and took first in age class today. Lesson learned was that if I pedal into turn 1 and hold the low high I will win the race. I was able to manual the double out of turn 1 and then manual the double before turn 2 and that also helped me win the race. I got a nice trophy and a bunch of tokens. My dad took 4th today in cruiser. I had a good weekend of racing. See you at the practice on Thursday.

Yesterday I went to Estabrook Park for A cross race. Since my dad was up at the Iceman my mom had to take me to race. When we got to the race I got ready, warmed up and it was time to race. When the race started I got on a wheel and moved up a couple of spots. Then Myles came around and I got on his wheel. We both worked together until the finish. At the finish I spinted and he couldn't push it anymore. For my prize I got a box of Clif shot Bloks. Good job to everyone who raced!

On Saturday I went to the banquet and had some fun. While I were at the banquet I sat with my grandma and grandpa. After we ate my Dad, Maddie, and I all got our plaques. Soon after that my Mom, Maddie, and I all got our State Champion awards. Then we won some stuff in the raffle and got some T-shirts from Don. Then we went home and got there at about one in the morning. On Sunday I went to the the cross race at Washington Park. While I was there I got a second place to Myles. I got a piggy bank and some other schwag. Now all I have to do is go to the rest of the races and I'll try to win the State Championships. See ya Later. . .

This weekend we went to Whitewater and Camrock for cyclocross races. At Whitewater the course was very muddy and slow. After the race my bike was full of mud and grass. When the results were final I got my schwag and had to leave to get to get to a birthday party for one of my friends. The party was at Olympic Lanes and was alot of fun to go bowling again.
On Sunday I went to Camrock and raced in the snow and cold weather. The Rusty Tool Shed came with my dad and I and raced in the 4's and he finished somewhere in the middle of the pack. After that I raced and couldn't feel my hands by the end of the race. The race was very cold and muddy. The results were final and I won again and for winning I got a bike pump. We stayed to watch Ron and Sammy race. Ron got 10th and Sam got 3rd. Good job to everyone who raced this weekend.

On Friday I went to the nite race and won some bling for the trophy case. Travis won, I got second, and Greg got third. The race was alot of fun and was run backwards. Props to Russ for putting on the great event.
On Sunday I went to Moe's Burrito Cross race in Lapham Peak. The course was in great condition. It was wet in one or two corners but other than that the course was very good. I won the race and got a pair of socks. The race was alot of fun and it was fun to go out there to race.
This weekend its a double header for cross. On Saturday it's in Whitewater and on Sunday it's Camrock. Hope to see you guys there!

Today at the race I was felling good and when we got to the course my dad noticed we didn't have mine or Maddie's shoes so we looked around and Megan and Jamie let us use their shoes. Thanks guys. Maddie got 2nd in her race and now she has 2nd overall. Today I heard GO from Don and I had a strong start. During the race I felt good and made it up "The Equalizer" both laps. As you may have guessed I won and got a 1st overall for the season. my mom ,Maddie and I are all state champs and my dad got a second overall for the WORS season. I gotta go to bed now. To start off the cross season we went up to Madison. At about 7 in the mornin' we went to get the Rusty Tool Shed and drove him up to the race. At 10 o' clock Russell started and finished somewhere in the middle. Then Adam,Ryan, and Me went off and had a Hayes sweep on the podiuem. I won the race by a couple of minutes and the Kays came in at second and third place after my race Ronsta went off and destroyed the pack on a single speed. Later in the day it got up to about 75 outside and thats when Pat raced in the masters race and got 16th place. after the race we went to The Festival of Meats and had some good food there. Later that night I was awoken by a flash of lightning and thunder. Well now I have to go and finish my homework. See Ya Later. . .

On Saturday went for a ride with The Tool, Megan, Jamie, Cooooop, Fast Girl, Torgler, Dan Tavela, and a few other people. About 1 mile into the ride I crashed into a pothole and luckily The Tool went left and not right because otherwise I would have gotten run over in stead of my bike. After the ride we all went to Cousins Subs for lunch.
Today I went to Greenfield Park and did some cyclo-cross practice with my sister, my dad, The Tool, Megan, Bubba, and Pat. Randy showed up on his fixie another bike I can beat him on. See Ya Later. . .

Saturday went and pre-rode the course at Kewaskum and after I rode the course Me and Sean went looking for bugs and we found two salamanders under a log and we both kept one.
Sunday Maddie got a second place, I got a sixth, my mom got a second also, and my dad got a third. After the race me and Sean went looking for more salamanders but didn't find any more. We wactched the comp and expert race by the hill where you go up the hill after you do a lap. We watched Russell get beat by Greg but he still did pretty good. See ya later. . .

Thursday went for the beatdown with my dad, The Tool, Pat, Cooooop, Sam and a couple others. It was a nice ride with a good steady pace. We averaged about 22mph and got in 35miles in under an hour and a half. At one point during the ride I hit 34mph probubly when The Tool was pulling at the front. After the ride we went to the Charcoal Grill. My dad ate the triple decker burger and I had some chicken sandwich thing it was pretty good. Today we're are going to go and preride the race course in Kewaskum. see ya later. . .
